What an affiliate link is

Some of the “where to watch” links on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one and then rent, buy, or subscribe to something, we may receive a small commission from that provider. You pay exactly the same price either way — the commission comes out of the provider’s margin, not your pocket.

How this affects our recommendations

It doesn’t. Recommendations are generated from ratings, vote counts, genre and availability data — never from commission rates. We deliberately show subscription options before rent-or-buy options, even though only the latter can earn us anything, because telling you to rent something you can already stream would be a bad recommendation.

Availability data

Streaming availability comes from third-party data and is shown for the United States. It changes frequently and can be out of date or wrong. We do not control it and cannot guarantee a title is still available on a given service. Always confirm on the provider’s own site before paying for anything.
